Organizer Agreement
Effective July 16, 2026
This Organizer Agreement applies to anyone who uses Droppin to list events, sell tickets, or manage guests (an “Organizer”). It is in addition to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. By creating an organization or publishing an event on Droppin, you agree to it.
1. Your relationship with Droppin
You are an independent business. Droppin provides software tools; it does not co-host, co-produce, or control your events. You are the host and seller of record for your events and are solely responsible for them. Nothing here creates a partnership, joint venture, employment, or agency relationship.
2. Payments & payouts
Ticket payments are processed through Stripe. To receive funds you must complete Stripe Connect onboarding and keep your account in good standing; until you do, Droppin does not enable paid ticket sales for you.Droppin charges a platform service fee, and Stripe charges its own processing fees; these are deducted from ticket sales. Payouts are made to your connected account on Stripe’s schedule and are subject to Stripe’s terms. You are responsible for refunds and chargebacks on your events, and you authorize Droppin to facilitate refunds (including automatic refunds when you cancel an event).
3. Your responsibilities
- Legal compliance. You must run your events lawfully and obtain all required permits, licenses, and permissions, including for occupancy, fire and safety, noise, accessibility, and any alcohol service. You are responsible for the safety and security of your events.
- Accurate listings. Provide truthful event details, dates, prices, age requirements, and terms, and honor the tickets you sell.
- Refund terms. Set and honor a refund/cancellation approach consistent with our Refund & Cancellation Policy. If you cancel, ticket holders are refunded.
- Waivers. Where appropriate, use the waiver tools to collect the releases your event needs; you are responsible for the adequacy of your waiver.
- Insurance. Maintain any insurance appropriate for your events.
4. Attendee data
You control the personal information of your attendees (contact lists, orders, waiver signatures, and vetting outcomes for your events). You must use that information only to run your events, protect it, and comply with applicable privacy laws. Do not sell it or use it for unrelated purposes. If an attendee exercises a privacy right that concerns your event, you must cooperate.
5. Messaging & consent
If you send texts or emails to attendees through Droppin, you are responsible for having the necessary consent and for complying with anti-spam and telemarketing laws (including the TCPA and CAN-SPAM). Do not upload or message contacts who have not opted in, and always honor opt-out requests. See our SMS Terms.
6. Guest vetting
If you enable identity vetting for an event, you must use it lawfully and non-discriminatorily and only to determine event eligibility. You are responsible for how you use vetting outcomes.
7. Taxes
You are responsible for determining, collecting, and remitting any taxes applicable to your events (such as sales, admission, or entertainment taxes). Stripe may issue you tax forms (such as a Form 1099-K) based on your sales. Droppin does not provide tax advice.
8. Prohibited events & conduct
You may not use Droppin to promote or run events that:
- are illegal, unsafe, or violate any law or third-party right;
- involve fraud, deception, or misrepresented details;
- promote hate, harassment, or violence; or
- otherwise violate our Terms of Service or acceptable use rules.
9. Suspension & termination
We may suspend or remove events, or suspend or terminate an organization’s access, if it violates this Agreement or the law, or to protect attendees, other Organizers, or the Platform. While an organization is suspended, ticket sales, check-in, and publishing are disabled. You may stop using Droppin at any time; obligations that should survive (including for completed sales, refunds, taxes, and indemnification) survive.
10. Indemnification & liability
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Droppin from any claims, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your events, your use of the Platform, your handling of attendee data, your messaging, or your violation of this Agreement or any law. The disclaimers and limitation of liability in our Terms of Service also apply to you.
